Dignity For Heroes

Help provide clothing to stabilization points to reclothe the wounded.

Soldiers wounded on the front are evacuated to stabilization points to be treated by a doctor, before being taken to a hospital further from the front. It is often the case that the doctors will need to remove the soldier’s ruined uniform, and will have to reclothe them before sending them further. These clothes will be worn by the soldier while they are being transported to the third point of care, and will often be wearing them during their recovery

The Dignity For Heroes project, in collaboration with Chalice of Mercy and Ukrainian Humanitarian Resistance, aims to help keep these stabilization points well stocked with civilian clothing to ensure that those wounded will have adequate and fitting clothing when being evacuated from the front.

How our system works: Volunteers collect or purchase needed clothing for stabilization points, and then deposites them in our donation boxes. Donations are collected and stored at a central warehouse, from there they are sorted by volunteers, and then sent to Chalice of Mercy, which will drop off the clothing to the stabilization points that they work with.
